This bird was not in the mood to be saved.

Jessie, a bright yellow and turquoise Macaw parrot, escaped her home in Edmonton, UK over the weekend and stranded herself on her neighbor’s roof for three days. Concerned that she was injured, her owners called the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) for help. When the RSPCA was unsuccessful in coaxing Jessie down, the London Fire Brigade stepped in.

It’s a common superstition that bad things come in threes. There’s no scientific evidence that suggests this is true, but one Redditor’s story may make a believer out of you.

Redditor u/JaMollyAdams shared a their very unfortunate run in with a bird today on r/pics, and wow do we feel for them.

“A bird flew in my window, sh*t on my laptop, and decided to die right in front of me,” JaMollyAdams wrote. “How’s your day going?”

Woof. What an unfortunate series of events.

The Scooter Wars are heating up, with Bird and Lime scattering their app-locked ridesharing scooters around several major cities, and Uber and Lyft preparing to throw their scooter-shaped hats into the ring

It can be a real headache trying to decide which electric horse to back, and if the previous ride-sharing wars were any indication, things are bound to get ugly. But you can skip all of that by entering to win…

Jim Carrey’s absurd, comedic touch made its mark on Thursday night, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his new show Kidding.

Instead of the regular walk-in and waving to the crowd as most guests do, Carrey entered with a skit about those dockless e-scooters which have taken over cities around America.

“I love it. You can pick ‘em up anywhere, and just drop them wherever you need to,” the comedian exclaims, slightly breathless from riding around LA on a Bird scooter.

Yes, you can get busted for scooting while drunk.

With scooters swooping into more and more cities, it’s no surprise that people are behaving badly on the electric devices. E-scooter rental company Bird celebrated its first anniversary earlier this month with 2.1 million riders in 100 cities. That’s 10 million rides.

But not all those rides have gone smoothly. Just this week Los Angeles had its first DUI case involving an e-scooter. The Bird scooter driver was three times over the legal…

Instead of searching for an electric scooter wherever you may be when the urge to scoot hits, Bird wants you to already have a scooter with you. All. Day. Long.

It may seem like the inverse purpose of a scooter-share program, but e-scooter company Bird revealed its new strategy on Thursday with its new Bird Delivery option.

Once it rolls out to U.S. cities in the coming weeks, you can order a Bird scooter that is delivered to your chosen location by 8 a.m. As of now, there’s only an online…
